The New American Beefsteak

rule

A sophisticated, new steakhouse in the suburbs…where you might eat with your hands…without the dirty looks.

A few miles west of Boston, a new kind of dining experience rises. Never before seen in New England, it is the Beefsteak. Built on the old Polaroid campus in Waltham, we offer a refined, modern interpretation of a classic American banquet honoring all things beef. Flank is a world-class steakhouse with a nod to the past.

At Flank, you dine in post-Prohibition steakhouse style juxtaposed with modern art, and Gatsby glam. It’s a place where business folk can loosen up a bit, roll up their sleeves, and dig into distinctive cuts of the finest meats and seafood with a rowdy bunch of colleagues. Or you can share a couple of whispers over cocktails with your special guest…while comfortably tucked in a dark corner. For the more adventurous, you also have the option of the Beefsteak, explained later. Flank is sophisticated. Flank is boisterous. Flank is the kind of steakhouse you never knew you needed.

Because we’re not a bunch of big chain out-of-towners, we believe that since our success occurs locally, we have a strong obligation to source locally whenever possible. Whether it’s North Star lamb from Maine, locally distilled spirits like Triple 8, local brews like Battle Road and Stony Creek, we promise to do our level best to support our neighbors.

And because we care as much as you do about the quality of the beef you eat, we serve USDA Prime All Natural source verified humane beef from the Brandt family ranch in southern California. Their Freisan steer are hormone and antibiotic free and they maintain a farm-to-fork philosophy and a commitment to sustainability which includes being responsible stewards of the land.
